Hello Folks! Welcome to Our Blog.

Compared to when we ran the Founders Edition through the test suite several months ago, we have added several new tests to the evolving compute suite.

If you are looking for gaming benchmarks, there are plenty of other sites online for those. We are simply looking at the compute performance here. Geekbench 4 measures the compute performance of your GPU using image processing to computer vision to number crunching. We used the windows version and a simple command of hashcat64 -b. Out of these results we used five results to the graph. Users who are interested in hashcat can learn more here. Hashcat64 is a demanding benchmark which heats up GPUs.

Indeed, we have seen otherwise stable systems, even some 8x and 10x GTX Ti systems fail during this testing. Let us move on and start our new tests with rendering-related benchmarks.

Arion Benchmark is a standalone render benchmark based on the commercially available Arion render software from RandomControl. First-time users will have to register to download the benchmark. Note: Even after expiration, the trial can still be used to measure render times. The latest release, OctaneRender 4, introduces support for out of core geometry. Some of the lower-end cards cannot complete this test.

Here we see solid results but this dime performance below the Founders Edition cards. Redshift is GPU-accelerated renderer with production-quality. Next, we will have 3DMark results before moving onto power consumption, thermals, and our final thoughts.

How to use Hashcat to Crack Passwords in Ubuntu 18.04

Thread Closed. Thread Modes. I was also a bit confused. The Ti seems to outperform s in some cases. Flomac Senior Member. Yep, the values of th seem a bit too slow. At least 7-zip is not ok.

Here is the FE with stock clocks, using the -w 4 on the same OS and drivers. If you need me to rerun the other cards with the default kernels let me know and i will do so. If you are interested. Pretty comparable to the on some algos. I just updated to Thanks cvsi, these results look more like what I've expected. No rerun needed. I've updated the comparison sheet with the new values.

RTX TI missed. Nikos Junior Member. You're missing out all the people that actually do need to buy something, because they're not some script kiddies fiddeling around at home with some hashes they found on the net or their neigbours wifi-router, but earning serious money with it. They might be very annoyed if they decide for a GTXTi, cause it looks cheaper on the paper, only to find out that a RTX is way faster at the hashes they're working with. May I remind you that it was you who stated "for hashcat like games, the new architecture is going to be slower" or "Turing is a lot slower regarding price to performance ratio.

With no proof or arguments you were bullshitting and confusing everyone. Grow up man. I'm trying to figure out what is wrong with you. Your reply seems OK up to the final point that you exposed yourself.

Look kiddo, I have to talk in your bullshit language. You are definitely a kiddo, since you reply word by word, phrase by phrase to prove what? We've now updated this versus piece as we've had time with the brand new graphics card, and have put the two cards through their paces to find out how well they really compare to each other.

The GTX Ti is certainly a tough act to follow, being one of the best gaming graphics cards ever made. If that price is too much, then bear in mind that the price of the GTX Ti may well drop now that its successor is out. It also has a base clock of 1,MHz, and a boost clock of 1,MHz. Its base clock is 1,MHz, and it has a boost clock of 1,MHz. That's for the reference spec of the RTX Ti.

As we mentioned earlier, we've now had a chance to run a variety of benchmark tests using the RTX Ti, so we can better compare it to the performance of the GTX Ti. While the performance difference isn't that huge in these benchmarks, it does mean that the RTX Ti is the most powerful consumer graphics card in the world. Impressively, the RTX Ti also has a lower maximum temperature and maximum power draw than the GTX Ti, which means it doesn't just offer more performance, but also does it more efficiently.

In the results above you can see that you are getting around 10 frames per second more when playing Total War: Warhammer II. Playing Middle Earth: Shadow of War at p the difference is even more stark, with a 30 fps increase. Shadow of War hits 74 fps, much higher than the holy grail of 60 fps at 4K.

Meanwhile, the GTX Ti falls just short, hitting 52 fps. With Pascal, Nvidia introduced its 16nm FinFET process, which brought improved efficiencies, higher densities of transistors, and increased performance. This features the debut of RT Cores, which are specialized cores used to compute how light and sound travel in a 3D environment at a rate of up to 10 GigaRays. However, the GTX Ti is still an absolutely brilliant graphics card, so if you want to save a bit of money and don't need to hit 4K resolution at full graphical settings, then the GTX Ti is well worth considering.

But what about if you already own a GTX Ti? Should you make the upgrade? We'd say probably not. The performance difference isn't that immense to warrant an upgrade. For most people, the GTX Ti will be more than good enough for the next year or more. Image 1 of 8 Higher is better. Image 2 of 8 Higher is better. Image 3 of 8 Higher is better. Image 4 of 8 Higher is better. Image 5 of 8 Lower is better.Skip to content. Instantly share code, notes, and snippets. Code Revisions 1 Stars 1 Forks 2.

Tom's Guide.Monday, September 3rd Caveat emptor, take this with a grain of salt, and the usual warnings when dealing with rumors about hardware performance come to mind here foremost.

The results, which you can see by clicking to read the whole story, are not out of line but some of the game titles involve a beta stage Battlefield 5 and an online shooter PUBG so there is a second grain of salt needed to season this gravy.

As it stands, 3DCenter. These are in line with expectations from hardware analysts and the timing of these results tying in to when the GPU launches does lead some credence to the numbers.

Adding to this leak is yet another, this time based off a 3DMark Time Spy benchmark, which we will see past the break. I'd be interested to see what the difference is at equal clock speeds. The Ti FE comes overclocked out of the box and should run cooler, which means it can sustain much higher clocks than the stock Ti FE. I do fully agree with the second part. Darksword I'd be interested to see what the difference is at equal clock speeds.

Same here. Nvidia OC'ed the cards out of the box and will better cooling its likely boosting much higher than ti stock.

If true, it doesn't look all that much better. They can brag about Ray Tracing, but in stuff we have now, it's often just tiny bit faster. I guess we won't be switching to new generation all that much and this also somewhat confirms all this crazy secrecy and why no one is talking performance, not even NVIDIA. Would the driver be better? RejZoR If true, it doesn't look all that much better. Meanwhile I will keep my pre-order. Especially Ti are now significantly cheaper.

Meh, why buy old stuff? When you look at it that way its Nvidia raping wallets lol! Then again if you got the money go for it. All power to you. Salt dose aside, It's fast, it's expensive, shock horror! You want the best, you pay for it. I thought that the jump from Maxwell to Pascal wasn't all just clocks, you mean to tell me that Paxwell and all that was true? And hey I've seen people on this forum argue that Turing must be running as a gazillion Ghz because it's on 12nm.

Yet Maxwell was faster than Kepler, on the same 28nm. Let's not kid ourselves Nvidia could have still easily doubled performance or at least get very close to it if they would have dropped the Tensor and RT cores. People aren't spoiled, there have always been huge jumps in performance in the GPU space, that's actually the norm. It's Nvidia that has spoiled itselffunny even when they go all out with the biggest dies that they can make they still chose to make it so that it's not the best they can do.
